The American Paint Horse is unlike any other horse breed in that it immediately draws the viewer's attention.
Their distinctive splashy white markings which are unique to each horse set them apart from the rest of the herd. The Paint Horse has long been a part of American history, first as a sacred animal to Native Americans, and then as the brightly coloured stock horses we are familiar with nowadays. Today, they are commonly used for ranch work and Western riding, but they can also be found competing on the racetrack and in English disciplines.
