To hide the seams and strengthen the toy even more, a protective webbing is sewn onto the outside edge. For the protection of your dog, squeakers are sewed within protective pouches. If your dog manages to reach the centre of the toy, this added safety feature can buy you some extra time to take it away. TUFFY toys are machine washed and air dry; they also float in water.
